As promised, here's my review after a month of using the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil. If you read my post about the Shu Uemura event, I stated there that I am not a fan of cleansing oils. My skin is every oily especially the T-zone and is acne prone. In the SH event, misconceptions about cleansing oils were cleared and I am so happy to get to try the travel size of this after everything. So let's move on the the review.

Talking about my face being super oily, I didn't know this cleansing oil is going to be my HG cleanser. There are different types of cleansing oil Shu Uemura offers, but the "POREfinist Anti-Shine fresh cleansing oil" is the perfect one that targets my concern; Oily, Shine and Acne.

One of the main reason why I don't put makeup like how I used to before is that my skin is super oily and I tend to breakout a lot. The second thing is that, I can be lazy at time when it comes to removing my makeup AND cleaning my face. Working 8 hours a day can be tiring and I only look forward to resting and sleeping at the end of the day. BUT, it is a must for us to cleanse our face and that is why I love this cleanser.

The cleansing oils are some sort of multi cleanser. This is not your ordinary cleanser. It serves as your make up remover AND your cleanser. How is that? Let me tell you how to cleanse your face using this cleanser.

Step 1: use 2-3 pumps of cleansing oil on DRY HANDS only
Step 2: spread gently and thoroughly over the dry face (Removing make up)
Step 3: wet your hand with lukewarm water and massage your face to emulsify. the oil will turn milky white and that is the cleansing part
Step 4: rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and bam, you are done!

Personally, I love this cleanser and I foresee myself using this till I don't know when. So what are the pros and cons of this cleanser. Let's break it down.

Pros:
1. Easy to use
2. Non greasy
3. Didn't break me out
4. leaves skin feeling refreshed
5. lightweight cleanser
6. removes stubborn makeup like waterproof mascara
7. don't have to double cleanse

Cons:
1. Pricey;
- But hey, it's a good investment. You are paying one for the price of two - Cleanser & Make Up remover and it can last you for couple of months.

I think it is good to pamper our skin once in awhile. I hope this review help and gave you a heads up about this cleanser.
