When I was younger, I don't really like wearing dresses. As in really, I was more of jeans and shirts because of my insecurities and imperfections. I will not elaborate more on my own imperfections but I just want to say something, we all have different insecurities and imperfections. Admit it, we do. Even those artists we see everyday on TV. Just that they are being air-brushed. Imperfections make us unique. I was told once, wait no, many times to embrace my own imperfections as they were given to me to be unique. Yes, you read it right. Just embrace it. 

Enough of blabbering. Going back to the dress, it was sent to me by Dresslily. At first I chose the blue colour but it was out of stock so I ended up choosing the green one. Well, not bad. It's so pretty and it is so flow-y. It's kinda long for me. I am not used to wearing this kind of length (2-3 inches above the knee). But, hey, it made an impact. I look kinda tall and not a shorty here (HAHA). I should probably wear more long dress, uh? Another thing I like about this dress is the material, Oh-Em-Gee, seriously guys, the material is oh-so-good. It's thick and soft, that made it so flow-y.

Moving on to my accessories, I wore this silver beads belt from Bugis. It's my mom's actually. I can't find any belt that would match this look so I borrowed one from her. Then I mixed my Harrods Bangles with my Romwe accessories. The dress is already plain so I added those accessories to make it a little less boring.

For the sling bag, I got it as a present and I thought it would match this dress perfectly. And to finish the look, just grabbed my black pumps for that "Sophisticated" look. The reason why this look is called "Sophisticatedly Green". By the way, my friend Rhys named it.

To sum it up, this look is perfect for a date especially or some other formal kinda thing. What do you think?
